10% Bonus Damage vs 10% Power Stat Aura: Which is Better?
My Hero has 1000 Power equipped with gear (10% Power or 10% Bonus Damage) vs my opponent's hero with 10000 Health & 25% Damage Resistance.
Computation using gear with 10% Power Aura (ignoring all other auras like Faction Bonus, etc.):
Total Power = 1000 + 100(10% from gear) = 1100 Power
Total Damage = 1100 - (1100 x 0.25DR) = 825 Damage
Opponent's Max Health - Total Damage = 10000 - 825 = 9175 Remaining Health
Computation using gear with 10% Bonus Damage (ignoring all other auras like Faction Bonus, etc.):
Total Power = 1000 Power
Damage w/out Bonus Damage = 1000 - (1000 x 0.25DR) = 750 Damage (25% DR applying first before 10% Bonus Damage?)
Total Damage = 750 + (750 x 0.10BD) = 825 Damage
Opponent's Max Health - Total Damage = 10000 - 825 = 9175 Remaining Health
So my computations in Bonus Damage are correct or it works like the Power Aura?
Applying the Bonus Damage first before Damage Resistance?
Edit: corrected the math error
