how about +2% crit chance when hit and 2% DR for being hit does it stack like if i took 10 hit it will be 20% DR ?

and my VA aura said (stacking) but my dragon malvenis / ghost of the spire dont have that word so how is it count if i use 2 GOTS ?

Crit chance I think is additive, meaning if you get hit 10 ten times then you gain 20%. DR however is multiplicative, so attack power x 0.98 x 0.98 etc. for however many times you get hit.

Ally auras will always apply to the others, no matter how many duplicates of that hero you have. Ghost of the Spire, for example, has +35% Health and Power for Spirits, so if you used four of them then each would gain 140%.

Stacking, like Vengeance Anders has, works a little differently. His aura is +50% power to Wardens, Mages, and Blue Faction (stacking), which means a hero will benefit from 50% for however many things qualify; VA himself qualifies for all three, so actually gains 150% from his own aura. GOTS would only qualify as being Blue Faction so would only gain 50%.

If stacking is not mentioned, but mulitiple groups are (for example, +50% to Inquisition and Mages), then a hero can only qualify once. A Inquisition Mage would still only get 50%.

Does power drain affect RLB's chance to assasinate? Could Assasination be afffected by other mechanics?

As currently implemented, yes. Since assassination is a multiplier to power it can be effected by power drain. A fully drained Bart's assassinate would hit like a wet noodle.

Assassination chance won't be affected, but power drain will impact the strength of the hit. Assassination is basically a x9999 power hit, so the weaker the heroes power, the weaker the resulting hit.

However, I'm aware that they're working on changing the mechanic soon so what I've said may not be true when that happens.

Good clarification. I misread the original question. You're right that it doesn't impact the chance, just the result.

                      Hey everyone!
Thank you for answering to my questions. I have another one. When Saarath does attack his teammates does it activate their passive abilities like powerdrain enemies? I have been testing a team of Saarath and MD. After MD was attacked by Saarath there was no powerdrain of the enemies. Is it intentional or a bug? The other team was 4 RLB without any powerdrain resist gear.

                        So many questions! Let's see...

Q: I have necro dorian how does his power drain count ? like if enemy hit aoe does he get -10% pwoer drain for whole team and 4 other attack it will goes to 18% power drain
A: Necromancer Dorian "Drains enemy power 3% when allies are hit". For each ally hit by an attack, a 3% passive power drain will be triggered. This means that if he is in a full squad of 5 and a non-stealth AOE attack hits all of them, then Necromancer Dorian will provide 5 x 3% power drain, for a total of 15% power drain. This is a passive ability, and as such, causes each enemy to lose 15% of their own current power. This effect does not trigger for stealth attacks.

                        Q: How does 2-4x defender work ?
A: When there are multiple Defenders in a squad, the damage absorption will be taken by each of them according to their total Defender value. This means in a squad with 2 50% Defenders, an AOE attack will cause those two heroes to take all of the damage, leaving their allies unharmed. There is a known issue involving multiple Defenders with a total value over 100% causing one of the Defenders to not function. For example, if there are 3 Defenders at 50%, 40% and 25%, the 25% Defender will not trigger, and only 90% of the total damage will be absorbed for allies.

Q: and does hearwood shield stack ?
A: Yes. Any Defender gear equipped to a native Defender hero will have the values added up. For example, a hero who is a 50% Defender equipping gear that provides 15% Defender will now act as a 65% Defender.

Q: and how much power drain of merril ?
A: Merril's power drain is an active ability, which means it is based on her power. Note: This is based on the BASE power of a hero, without auras applied, but including fortification. Power gains do not increase her power drain.

Q: Item like Maul of Tactitus have -% stun for enemy does it mean if i have 20% chance to stun with that item ill be 28% ? and if i put it on 5 unit it will be 60% chance to stun ?
A: No. A negative resistance lowers the enemy's resistance - it does not raise your chance to stun. Stun resistance is floored at 0%, so you cannot reduce an enemy's stun resistance below 0. Enemies without any stun resistance will not be affected by a negative aura. But an enemy with, for example, 50% stun resistance, will be reduced to 42% resistance. Putting it on 5 units would cause that same enemy to be reduced to only 10% stun resistance. This does indirectly make you more likely to stun them, but only because they have less chance of resisting the stun.

Q: How does Forge master hammer work ? -5% power for enemy x5 = 25% ? thats huge
A: Negative power auras stack in a multiplicative manner, not additive. This means that if your team has 5x Forge Master's Hammer, then the values will be applied as <power> * 0.95^5, a total of ~22.6% reduction (rather than 25%).

Q: What is difference between +power and + damage ?
A: The difference is subtle and is an interplay of the way hero stats are created, as opposed to the function. If you look at a single hero as it is currently created in-game, you may not notice an appreciable difference. However, when Design is creating a hero, we take Power auras into account when creating stats, but not bonus damage. This means that heroes within the same stat class will have a higher base power (and thus higher fortification values) with a Bonus Damage aura (but no Power aura) than those with a Power aura (but no Bonus Damage aura). Heroes who get both kind of get the best of both worlds.

For example, in a 1* Quick Row/Column-hitter stat class, a hero may qualify for 1500 Power. If that hero is given a +25% Power aura, then the power for the hero would be reduced to 1200, bringing the "self-adjusted" value to 1500 when the aura is applied. This means without any fortifications or other auras applied, this hero could provide a critical hit of 3000 damage. If that same hero is given a 25% Bonus Damage aura instead, then the power would remain at 1500. On a critical hit, that hero would be capable of (1500 * 2.25) = 3750 damage.

Additionally, in a PVP event, event bonuses do not apply to auras, but Bonus Damage is calculated after the damage is calculated, so you will see a bigger damage output for a hero with Bonus Damage (as it would take event bonus into account) than heroes with just the power aura.

No, passive abilities are not activated by friendly fire.

can some1 confirm steath only bypass 10% DR but not totally ignore it ? my friend said stealth ignore DR but i remember CM said stealth only bypass 10% DR since torpo mean to counter quick hero but my full mys fort torpo keep getting 1 shotted by kitty by just only 1 hit ( mean kitty will kill 3 units including torpo ) even my torpo have about 400k hp and 50-60% DR least

and if stealth bypass 10% DR and DR cap at 75% but if i build a unit with 85% DR can it still be 75% or 65% ?

In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                                1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

                                2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section.

                                3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available.

                                4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

                                5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum.

                                6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

                                7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.
