    Stats and all other aura are against them but if CG released new Templars with 60/60 aura with stun resist, those curse and drain immunities will take effect in meta.

    Templars can gain all the power they want without draining or cursing them so I disagree about your fact 1.

      The fact 1 is as they are currently, if another toon send them to meta, curse inmunity will be an op ability (again I'm not suggesting to add any immunities)

            My Fact

            I tried to be positive on the revamp and built 2 teams, trying to ultilize tankiness, DR, bonus damage etc:

            1. 2x LVR & 2x Belinda + LC (I used Great Dragon) to counter demons (yeah those kitties)
            2. 2x LVR & 2x Drltin Barris + GD to counter Red Lyrium (yeah those Bartrands)

            Sadly both team FAILED when I tried them out This is sad....
            My LVRs and GD are mythic T4 forted
            My Belindas & Delrin Barris are T4 leg forted
            All of them equipped with keys, demon mauls, and good gears.

            I am not expecting a 100% proof counter vs kitties and Bartrands. But even without assasinate those Bartrands rips through my team easily

            So overall revamp for me was not satisfactory IMO

              The best Templar setups I've come up with so far...

              2x Eva 2x Belinda in a cross. Storvacker is my preferred LC here, but GD, GoM, Gurn, or Dragon Morrigan can all work as well.
              2x LVR 2x Lucius in a cross. GD is my preferred LC here, but Gurn works very well. And Gamordan is a sneaky good one here if going against Ferelden.

              But do not expect either setup to be competitive against well forted Kitties or Ferelden squads.

              Two things that I think really define how good these revamps are (or aren't):
              1. As soon as the revamps hit, I fired up a ton of different Templar combinations. I runed up. I went in to PG and started attacking every Ferelden and Demon squad I could find that did not have runes. I lost a freaking lot. And I even t2 leg forted to give them a shot.
              2. Of my 3 best and quickest grinding squads during the GW, Kitties were one of them. No buffs, going against Templars with buffs. Templars who debuff the crap outta Kitties.

                Some thoughts on these toons:

                Knight Commander Delrin Barris, negative power auras, can equip the lyrium kit and merediths key, column hitter, health and power gain on ally death, very good health, health aura, slow so he has time to charge power, not a defender, power curser, great companions in Ferelden and Templars. ( With this im not saying he is meta, but a piece i use to counter demons using Ferelden and a very good toon, hell i even used him when he had 37k health and not 51k on certain Calenhad setups)

                Survival is difficult for these because most are defenders.

                Commander Duhaime 75% defender, awful auras, super awful supporting crew besides TEO.
                Hissrad, decent, defender, poor supporting cast
                Divine Guard, 75% defender, poor power
                Guardsman Donnic, crap auras, single hitter
                King Endrin Aeducan, bad supporting cast, crap auras, single hitter
                Guardian of the Urn, pretty decent, he was used when spirits were meta a year ago, but also a single hitter and a defender, no auras.
                Grey Warden Oghren good on pvps, less tanky, no auras, wardens are still crap
                Red Lyrium Blackwall, single hitter, decent protecting TEO, defender
                Hakkonite Defender, defender, crappy auras, dies fast, power is below avg
                Marshal Proulx, defender, single hitter, supporting cast is awful
                Justice, pretty decent, a key piece to some Fenharel counters using GoTS and SoF, single hitter, not much relevant anymore.
                Naishe: poor supporting cast, no health aura, no other good auras besides power.
                Paragon Branka: weak aoe, poor supporting cast
                Blackwall: less tanky than Barris, Wardens are crap, inquisition ( non seeker related) needs an update
                Gurd Harofsen: Not a bad toon mechanic wise, but crap support cast, less tanky than Barris, he needs 10k more health.
                The First, normal speed single hitter, no resistance provider, Teo has better companion options.
                Piotin Aeducan: crappy attack mechanic, extremely poor supporting cast, crap auras.

                You can call them "very good toon(s), super tanky".

                I call them a dime a dozen who if it weren't for hodacodex.com I'd have forgotten about long ago because I never spend long at the T1 Lvl1 end of my roster...

                  The reason why meredith keys takes time to build up, because there are no groups that has both immunities over power curse and power drain. Either you team get drained or cursed for the whole turn

                  most ferelden teams have two problems, drain and stun. to have both, you pretty much need to remove an arcane and king cal, if you want to keep your banner, making the squad less deadly in exchange for more resiliance.

                    nobody would want the update to make templars meta, that's not the point. if a hero everyone had forted like belinda entered the meta, i think a lot of people would be upset.

                    i'd say the revamp was a decent to good one.

                      Maybe you did not understand what I emphasize is that it does not matter that the Templars have immunity to curse because the teams with whom I face do not drain force or curse to the contrary gain power

                      the ferelden standard is not used for its immunity to curse force but xq gives 40% resistance to ferelden, is a fast hero that brakes all and stuns a line which from the beginning of the battle gives a great advantage to ferelden apart from that it reduces 50 of enemy resistances so that the immunity to curse is the least even if they remove that from the standard I would continue using it since KC and GD give 80% resistance to curse the squad so immunity is not as necessary neither


                      the templar banner gives immunity to drainage and even without cursing its force the templar does not accumulate power xq its net attack is very low, a hero with 500 of power so it has 20 keys will not raise its power beyond 10k even in 10 rounds for the key is effective you must have a lot of attack and / or heroes that attack all of them so the damage is greater and it would be effective or a hero who assassinates the power What would really help the Templars is that they change the drainage of strength of many Templars by resistance to slow down, gain strength or stun

                        I believe delrin barris is very useable after update.Hes by no means meta but with his neg aura(which he already had) and the health boost he can be quite useful in certain set ups.Understanding that gw boosted templars makes it less then ideal to truly gauge toons usefulness but having said that I was in top 100 for a lot of gw and teams with delrin barris in front were some of the more difficult set ups.He just wouldn’t go quietly.Having said that I must agree LVR at the least should have kept his power.He would’ve been a lot more useable(still not meta) outside of templar boosted events.Can we get explanation as to why his power was reduced?Not saying I need cg to answer to me about this but just so we can understand the reasoning behind the reduction.

                          Red Lyrium Blackwall is far better than all else you cited, and very useful to cover Red Lyrium allies.

                            Actually I'm talking about the importance of Power Curse Immunity. Giving Power Curse immunity to one group will give them huge boost, adding Power Drain Immunity to it you make the group broken. Especially if they have access to Power Gainers that can actually use meredith keys. Using his base stat and ignoring power gains from gears, aura and faction bonuses for computing his final damage with the keys is laughable. And LVR is not the only doing damge here, you have Eva that actually hits pretty hard, making the keys more dangerous.

                            If you think 80% is great, it's not. I have a Warden Team before with 75% Curse Resist, Xenon can reduce 35% of that, and he can curse 2-3 of my heroes during his turn. 2 Xenons will laugh at your 80% curse resist.

                            Customer Support Inquiries
                            All inquiries regarding Customer Support should be routed through the online web portal for support. The Community Manager and Moderators are unable to assist with inquiries regarding support tickets. Posting your ticket number and requesting assistance on the forums will result in the post being deleted. Sending a Private Message to the Community Manager or Moderators about CSR Inquiries is not to be tolerated, and will be ignored.

                            What happens if I break the rules?
