Hello everyone, I had played heroes of dragon age many years ago when it released. I loved it then as I never saw any other game like it mobile phones. I had to delete it as my phone could no longer handle the game anymore. Over the years I never played the game and in the recent scenario of pandemic I started playing games that I can just play for sometime and switch over to something else, so that I don't get bored quickly. One of those games was AFK arena, though the game is a little p2w it's addicting af and reminded me of this game. So I reinstalled the game but was disappointed to see such little changes. I assumed the game must be dead as there were no fb groups for the game I could find. It didn't bug me that much but I recently saw that afk arena was one of the top revenue earning game. That really confused me as it had no prior fan base or a game that forced in app purchase. I just couldn't believe that a idle game with mechanics like hoda was earning more that hoda with a huge fan base compared to hoda.

So I have made a small list of things hoda can do to get a more active fan base. Now keep in mind some of these may not appeal to old players but to new players it would be very appealing.

    1) Make the game idle rpg :- I am pretty sure most people play the game for 15-30 minutes at a time and then close it. This would be really good in idle rpg game as it will make people login regularly and get some rewards from it. The rewards can be xp used to upgrade player levels and some golds and equipments.

    2) Remove every gold pack from game:- I think gold packs just gives way too much heroes to play with. There was a time when getting a legendary hero meant something but now it hardly excites me as I have like 20 of them, and there must be players with 100s just sitting, waiting for a event to use them. I can save 100k gold and open 350 coin packs and get atleast 2 legendary guranteed or even more. So just remove them all together.

3)Remove duplicate heroes:- I understand when there are heroes like morrigan and dragon morrigan, but cassandra, seeker cassandra, young cassandra, old cassandra, baby cassandra, etc don't make much sense at all. For me all heroes should have one version only. The other versions can be sold as skins if required.

4)Add abilities :- I think different abilities that are unlocked with levels make the game more appealing. Its very tiring seeing the same animation of heroes doing same thing every time. Makes it extremely boring (for me atleast). For example take morrigan, she can have dragon form as ultimate which can be activated after 2 turns lasts 2 turns and can be activated only once per match.

5)Make guilds mean something :- Add things like daily pve for guild members or loan system where you can get a hero for loan once per week. Guild shops, guild ranking systems based on pve events.

6)Revamp the gallery :- I can feel my phone struggling when I go through the gallery. Its like loading too many resources and my phone is very good has 6gb ram decent gpu but still lags on it. Maybe its because there are way too many heroes but still i don't think it was ever smooth. To attract a bigger player base the game should work nicely on most phones and not in high end phones only.

7)Add daily quests :- Almost every mobile game has daily quests now, atleast every gacha game has one. I think it will make sure people play the a lot more.

8)Promote the game:- The game should have official facebook groups, instagram pages, youtube accounts. These are some very cheap ways to build a player base and every gacha game has one.

9)Change market/store completely :- The game should have a simpler market to not confuse new players. Any new player will runaway after opening the heroes page in store. There too many offers in the same place. Most will have 10k gold maybe and will open the 350 pack or 1500 pack, get nothing and delete the game. Which is why I think only diamond offers should be there, Something like summon one hero for 30 diamonds, summon 10 for 270 diamonds. People can get heroes from bronze to legendary with high chances of good heroes in 10 times summon. The bronze and silver heroes can be converted into shards which when saved can be used for guranteed rare of legendary summons. Bloodstones can be changed to free summons that can be saved.

    10) Change the economy :- I think coins should be used to level up heroes along with xp which players get from completing maps or idle auto combat on last stage completed. People should get 30 diamonds everyday if they complete all daily quests. 120 diamonds when they complete weekly objectives. Increase diamond reawards when maps are completed. Remove the mastery of maps option completely and instead add more maps. Equipments should be like the game version( helmet, torso, gauntlets, shoes, weapon) none which appear in game and there just to buff stats. Remove the negative stats given my legendary heroes and nerf the positive stats given them to a more balanced version.

What do you guys think? I still love the game but it could be a little more engaging for new players atleast. (remove quest energy system make no sense if mastery is removed)

What you are asking for here is basically to rewrite the entire game. That's not going to happen. You're looking for an entirely new application to be built.

Asking why your request was resolved differently than another player will result in your post being deleted.

Violation of these terms is grounds for removal from EA Capital Games games.

What should I do if I see objectionable material on the forums?
It is important that members recognize the real-time nature of this forum: the moderators cannot always monitor the contents of posted messages, and as such depend upon you to inform them when participants or their messages are violating our policy as stated here. To contact a moderator, please use the Flag Post function on the post represented by a flag:

What happens if I break the rules?
At best, your post will be edited by one of the moderators and you will be issued a warning. If the offense is more serious your post will be deleted. Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" etc. will only make matters worse, so please don't. If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Lead Moderator a message asking for a reason.

Should you have already been issued warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued an infraction - your posting privileges will be disabled for three days, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

For persistent and deliberate rule-breakers your account will be "Banned". That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and/or games and your account will no longer function in them. If you re-register, your new account will be banned as well.

    Posting Suggestions
In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

    1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion. Keep in mind that in most cases, posts are not intended to offend. If you find yourself taking offense at a post, take a step back and contact the person directly, or appeal to a moderator for arbitration. Don't make the situation worse by posting in anger and lashing out at the original poster. Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

    2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section under the appropriate heading.

    3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available. Additionally, before posting a bug, check the Known Issues thread to quickly see if the staff is already aware, and to find the discussion thread about that issue.

    4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

    5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum and/or game.

    6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

    7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.

In addition to the Forum Rules, you are bound to the general EA Terms of Service both on these forums and in the game. Links to the TOS are as follows:

    EA TOS English
    EA TOS French
    EA TOS German
    EA TOS Russian
    EA TOS Spanish

By registering and posting on these forums, you agree to be bound to the rules and disciplinary actions set forth above.
