    We've got a pretty solid "No way, no how" on bringing Andraste into HoDA. Sorry.

      I suspected as much, it is almost the same with the Griffins. I just replied to Ghast Whisperers' suggestion.


      I would like to repeat a question I posted on page 1 on this post:

      To this subject, I have a question for you and any of the master lore of the game. In all the medias of the game PC, books and movie, how is it that the Templars and Chantry or any other group for that matter, did not find any large creatures such as horses bears or nuggalopes, to a company them in HODA? The templars or seekers did ride horses in DA: Dawn of the Seekers.

        Exactly, she would be like a demigod and I am not sure about a statue it may work but, I prefer a horse or a nuggalope or some thing else. I posted a question about this, lets see what the answer will be.

          As it turns out, what we did with the Grey Warden Knight was pretty intense for custom modeling, and the artist who made that work is unfortunately no longer with the team. So we're kind of starting from scratch again to figure it out all over. We'd like to do more mounted heroes for the other groups that don't have a "natural" LC to be included. In the meantime, we're trying to alter the existing Dragons we have so that every group in the game with a weak LC can look to a Dragon to represent them, even if the dragon itself isn't in the same group (like Abyssal High Dragon with the Wardens) - something to complement and fill in gaps in the group, even if the dragon itself can't receive some of the group auras.

                Thank you for replying. As much as I like dragons, I also like other LC. I really enjoy looking and using the Elk, Nuggalope, Halla, Druffalo and others. I am happy that you are planning on doing more of the mounted LCs’. In my opinion large creatures who give and not getting from the teams are a little week and most of the times do not survive the first round. But for the moment they will fill the gap so it is better than nothing. I hope you will manage to do so sooner than later.

                It is not necessary to put a toon on top of a mount but, I do have some suggestions. Though the elves do have LCs’, I would like to see a female elf, Ariane look alike, archer on top of an elk, a bear or a halla. The templars and seekers could use a knight like the wardens have, with a female warrior. For the chantry, it would be nice to see a horse or a nuggalope attached to a fancy two wheel closed roof chariot.

                  I don't know if this idea has been floated before but perhaps a modest increase in stats (H/P) could be provided to squads who do not use an LC? like when you only have your 4 normal sized heroes your squad receives a 25-35% boost to overall stats AFTER aura calculation to make up for the loss of LC. 25-35% being based on rarity. 1* legendary gets 25 3* gets 35. This way factions like Chantry with no functional LC can receive a boost to their squad to make them a more competitive option. It'd be interesting to see people use strategies where they intentionally forego a LC for a different strategy.

                    An interesting idea but, what you are suggesting is something very strong for legendary toons. Something like a 2* legendary giant to replace some nice large creatures and that will be bad for game.
                    It is almost making them useless. And it shouldn’t be automatically add when a giant is absent.

                    However, this gives me an idea. How about HODA team will create an item/gear for normal size toons that, will give some aura when a giant is absent, based on the rarity of the toon.
                    Something like; ‘A paragon, who feared his fellow dwarves will have no golems to aid them, creates a belt or a symbolic hammer that will give some aid to them’.

                    This item for normal size only will do one of two things:

                    If a large creature is present, it will give the team some resistance to stun, slow, power drain and curse, based on the rarity of the toon. Legendary 10%, Epic 15%, Rare 20%, Uncommon 25% and Common 30% of resistance. And perhaps dwarves will get +5% to each rsrity.

                    If a large creature is absent, it will give the team some aura of power and health, based on the rarity of the toon. Legendary 5%, Epic 10%, Rare 15%, Uncommon 20% and Common 25% of health and power and will grants a very small health and power on ally’s hit.

                    If more than one of these items is present in a team of four, there will be no accumulating effects.

                      Neat idea, but not really practical for implementation. We'd have to basically rewrite the whole gear system in order to implement something like this.

                        Thank you. I guess the different rarities are the problem. So lets simplify the effect.

                          No, it's not even the rarities. That's actually the "easy doable" part of all this It's everything else that would make us have to rewrite the whole gear system.

                            Well maybe, the difficulty is if the gear needs to recognize the presence or absence of a large creature in a team. This is one of those times I wished I was a programmer.

                              Do you currently have any ideas of a Chantry LC? Chantry tag is one of my favorites. I really want it to be viable. And just slamming abyssal on there feels underwhelming at the moment

                                Spamming

                                Warez

                                Cross-posting
                                Posting the same question in more than one forum is not allowed. Should this occur, then only the thread in the most relevant forum will be left open; all others will be locked/closed and subsequently deleted.


                                Cheating
                                The use of any exploits or known bugs or editing of files in order to gain an unfair advantage while playing, will result in a permanent game and forum ban.

                                Accusing another player of cheating will result in your post/thread being deleted and a message sent to you, stating to refrain from further accusations. If continued accusations occur, a forum ban will result. If you believe a player to be cheating, send a PM to the Community Manager with as much detail as possible.

                                Please privately contact the Community Manager in order to submit an inquiry regarding this behavior.


                                Off-Topic Posting
                                Taking over a thread by posting excessively off-topic is not allowed. Off-Topic posts and any responses will be moved to their own, new thread if possible, or else deleted.


                                Political Posting
                                Because political beliefs, like religion, are a personal and sensitive topic, avoid posting about politics on the forums.


                                Customer Support Inquiries
                                All inquiries regarding Customer Support should be routed through the online web portal for support. The Community Manager and Moderators are unable to assist with inquiries regarding support tickets. Posting your ticket number and requesting assistance on the forums will result in the post being deleted. Sending a Private Message to the Community Manager or Moderators about CSR Inquiries is not to be tolerated, and will be ignored.

                                Additionally, all interactions with Customer Support are considered confidential, and all issues are handled on a case-by-case basis. As such, posts containing transcripts or results of your interactions with Customer Support will be edited or deleted.

                                What should I do if I see objectionable material on the forums?

                                What happens if I break the rules?
