I believe 90% "senior " players are holding 99 XP event keys. Some have 99 potion event key as well.
For most players XP key (blue) just has no use at all. So I hope game designers can consider my suggestion that introduce a key craft system, for instance, use 3 or 4 or 5 identical keys to craft 1 different key (e.g. Banished plane key, giant wisp key...). Cheers.

Do you mean that you could take 2-5 Experience Keys (using your example) to create a Purple key (I don't know the name) or a potion key? Or are we combining it to make something else new entirely?

I have 99 of every key. It would be great if they could be used to also unlock older Nexus/Quests.

i'm all in favor of a new twist to usage of keys...
        but...
before this is considered.. i'd prefer the consume UI to be improved... (see new discussion thread Consume Point Values)

Regarding the keys.. I still feel the green key is rather pointless.. why spend energy for it when you can just spend energy on a nexus... it doesn't make sense to me.
I'd rather the potions be had via daily login rewards or through the ladder rewards..

100% agree. Been wanting a key fix for a long time. My xp and giant keys are always 99 and potion wull be soon too because my teams are stronger now and i dont have use for revives. Though i still did find the potions useful in the past. If it was a bit tougher event and i noticed a green drop but i failed on a node or 2. Giant keys have their uses i guess but im a simple man who enjoys standard nexus events, especially recently with all the new ones or ludicrous additions. Maybe after the western approach ends and the following week(s) arent as interesting i may hammer out some for fort food. God knows i should have all the consumes needed already from western approach.

The xp keys are the worst imo..... and im one who actually loves to level my account up... even if its only for a few more ludicrous runs on the whichever tge current nexus is. But acct lvl rewards are pretty bland anyway and any good nexus or event already gaining my attention will already level my characters up anyway. And several levels on a toon hardly makes a difference anyway, especially in contrast to tiers.

So yeah! Id love for a key craft of sorts. I wouldnt make them all the same rate though. Some are less valuable than others obviously. BPK > GK > XPK. So with that being said it should be something like 5 xp keys makes 1 BP and maybe 3 giant keys make 1 BP. Would have to be counter active too in case someone wanted to make XP keys out of BP keys though of course.

While I can certainly appreciate the thought behind it - I'm not sure how much value it would actually add for the amount of work required to make it happen. Lots of long time players are max or near max on ALL keys as it is, mostly due to time constraints limiting when keys can actually be used. Many players end up not running LC wisps because of not wanting to spend gems on refills - but then also not wanting to "waste" a key by only running the event for a full bar of energy - but then also being conflicted about wanting to run the weekly or daily nexus instead. For Banished Plane, it ends up being a time matter since it costs nothing BUT time. Potions, well, I still think it's odd that you can run Potions 10 times but can only hold a max of 3 potions... We accumulate keys so quickly, it seems.

That's not to say that there aren't plenty of other players that DO take full advantage, or greater advantage, of their keys.

Could go either way, I suppose.

This is an interesting idea, have all the quests available always and just unlock one or two each week as that week's usual event, but otherwise they can be opened with keys anytime. Would be a goldmine of statistics for the team to see what players are willing to spend keys to play.

I think there is value in all the keys, tbh.

Sure, you can get xp from any other event, but the xp key is topdog. You run x2 UL Knowledge runes and you are grabbing ~10k xp per run. Nothing comes close to that. Drop in a couple toons, and an energy bar later or two and they are pretty close to top level.

Giant wisps are the fastest way to tier any toon. The giant nexus is a decent source for leg LC forts. And BP drops all kinds of goodies.

In my opinion the biggest problem with the nexus key events is the requirement of both keys and energy. I never understood why BP cost a key and nothing else (which is the way to go) - but the others cost a key plus energy. Really? 25 energy per run so that I can average another Leo every 1-2 energy bars? That kills the nexus. I think if these 'special' nexus quests cost the key only, per run; or even per 3 runs, like BP - then they'd see a ton more use. Getting the keys in the daily logins would be much more fun, and worthwhile - because it's an extra quest to be run without taking away from the weekly quests.

I find the Blue key still handy.. actually increasingly more handy as I develop my squads further... it's handy for "in a pinch" times when you want to level fast.
The double EXPerience nexus is less efficient than Sunday Gold/XP nexus but nearly as good.. and the gold is decent.

If keys were made to be "recycled" into other uses such as unlocking old nexus of the player's choice.. well then it we likely de-value the blue key a bit.. but that is fine... as long as one can get their
XP from elsewhere at comparable rates.. that would be wonderful~!

I wish we can use all keys just like purple keys. Maybe they should be very rare and stamina free.

This is an interesting idea, I like it and I think it would be cool if you could do the same with some runes, you have a lot of runes that you usually don't use and you can't remove them.
It would be great if you could exchange that keys for money, gems, wisps or merge them to obtain another key that you use more.

100% agree, but can be make more simple: if user try open event without key for this event, system can ask to use 3x<other key>

I second the idea of just letting us use the keys similar to the purple key. I never use the green or blue keys, and occasionally the yellow.

I like the idea that key events need no energy. But for giant crature, and giant wisp nexus it should be possible to buy aditional rounds like it is possible now with the energy refills. I did run full keys when whe had the discount with the dracolisk hunt event. It is realy useful to tier up fort food.

An other idea i had lately: Would it be possible to ad a third energy type specialy for key events?
So you don't have do decide at all?

In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                              1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

                              2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section.

                              3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available.

                              4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

                              5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum.

                              6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

                              7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation.
