  • Gallery stats

    Hi,

Does anyone know how the gallery stats are calculated?
The page shows that there are 633 heroes which can be summoned and 396 of those are Legendary.
Taking that all Legendary heroes can by made Mythic means there are 1029 heroes, but the table to the right implies that there are 1037 on the IV tier, while there are 1035 on the I - III tiers.
Now the tier level numbers I assume are a reference to heroes which have been obtained and tiered up over time even if they no longer exist in inventory.

So other than the hero tally discrepancy, I like to check the gallery to check how many heroes might not have been fully tiered up and according to the table the difference between my number in tier IV and tier 1 is 14 but when I check the picture gallery to try and find the 14 I can only find 3 heroes which haven’t been tiered up (2 of those were common heroes which I no longer have).

In essence while the Gallery table looks like it should be sort of useful as a progress guide, I’m not convinced it’s either inaccurate or isn’t informative because the numbers don’t match up to anything I can relate to.

My hypothesis is that the difference between the 1029 and the 1037 is the 7 Mythic banners and the Prestige Wisp, which can only be Mythic, never Legendary. Then the difference between the 1035 and 1037 is the rare heroes Dark Revenant and Tevinter Laetan Mage which can only be Tier 4, never Tier 1-3. Though I think this implies that the total "summoned" is incorrect, as it only includes Common to Legendary, and excludes Mythic?

I did wonder about that and assumed the Mythic banners would be added to the summoned total, but 633 heroes is the listed total of everything up to legendary (and as you say must exclude mythics) which aren’t shown or listed anywhere except in the Tier numbers.
However I do have all banners and they’ve all been made up to T4, plus a while back you could get T4 Prestige Wisps, which suggests those mythics, while they’re included in the Tier max total, don’t get counted beyond Tier 1.
So that would be a “bug” or a missed feature...

In the picture gallery there isn’t a Mythic listing, but as a suggestion because the heroes become un ticked as Legendary when making Mythic why don’t they simply change the tile colour to purple from green (or half purple / half green) and leave them ticked.
This could avoid needing a whole new listing and then the developers could include Mythic banners / prestige wisp within the Legendary list.

        This is exactly right.

The "Summoned" count does not take into account Mythic heroes, of any sort (including Banners/Prestige Wisps) due to the lack of Mythics being directly listed in the Gallery (we know, we're sorry). If you add up the totals for each of the listed rarities on the Gallery main page, you'll have 633.

There's not actually a bug in this, it's simply due to the fact that we haven't yet been able to get Mythics enabled in the Gallery. There's very complicated reasons why it hasn't happened yet that I can't go into.

Okay, I understand the summons count and the gallery but why doesn’t the hero tally rise from Tier 1 to 4 when you incrementally tier up a Mythic?
They are only actually ever counted as Tier 1 never Tier 2, 3, or 4.
Why not simply include mythics in with legendaries? After all the vast majority of Mythics are upgraded Legendaries and the numbers and pictures are only a tally count. Plus each time you need to add a new hero (currently other than mythics you still need to update the gallery and tally count anyway)

Because it's not that "simple" Like I said, there's very complicated reasons why Mythics aren't currently being included in the Gallery but I can't get into those reasons.

I'm not sure why your Tier counts aren't incrementing as you raise up Mythics - mine match on the live game. Sounds like maybe a bug on your account and you should contact CS about it.

Customer Support will not discuss the details of any player's case with any other player, but will provide support to you under our established, confidential policies. Asking why your request was resolved differently than another player will result in your post being deleted.

Violation of these terms is grounds for removal from EA Capital Games games.

What should I do if I see objectionable material on the forums?
It is important that members recognize the real-time nature of this forum: the moderators cannot always monitor the contents of posted messages, and as such depend upon you to inform them when participants or their messages are violating our policy as stated here. What happens if I break the rules?
At best, your post will be edited by one of the moderators and you will be issued a warning. If the offense is more serious your post will be deleted. Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" etc. will only make matters worse, so please don't. If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Lead Moderator a message asking for a reason.

Should you have already been issued warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued an infraction - your posting privileges will be disabled for three days, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

For persistent and deliberate rule-breakers your account will be "Banned". That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and/or games and your account will no longer function in them. If you re-register, your new account will be banned as well.

              Posting Suggestions
In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

              1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion. Keep in mind that in most cases, posts are not intended to offend. If you find yourself taking offense at a post, take a step back and contact the person directly, or appeal to a moderator for arbitration. Don't make the situation worse by posting in anger and lashing out at the original poster. Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

              2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section under the appropriate heading.

              3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available. Additionally, before posting a bug, check the Known Issues thread to quickly see if the staff is already aware, and to find the discussion thread about that issue.

              4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

              5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum and/or game.

              6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

              7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.

In addition to the Forum Rules, you are bound to the general EA Terms of Service both on these forums and in the game. Links to the TOS are as follows:

              EA TOS English
              EA TOS French
              EA TOS German

              EA TOS Spanish

By registering and posting on these forums, you agree to be bound to the rules and disciplinary actions set forth above.
