  • I will no longer buy Flash Packs

Started spending money in this game by buying gems to purchase flash packs and all i get is the trash ones. All flash packs that came after the best of 2016 gives me toons that is utterly worthless, not a single 3*....not worth my money. The grand champion packs too, its guaranteed to receive featured hero in second pack but in first pack i buy its always trash toons again and worse wisps....my hard earned money.........

Sorry bout your luck mate, that stinks. Its your money and I'd never tell you how to spend it but I find if I take a bit of a break during bad luck streaks and when I comeback my luck usually changes. Also I don't usually get fps unless I have most of toons.I learned my lesson on Md,Kev,Sof fp.I ended up getting KEV and was a bit pissed.

Not every flash pack is intended for every player. If a flash pack doesn't appeal to you, don't buy it. Simple as that.

The main purpose behind Flash Packs is to get heroes that are not currently available via any other method out there as an option for players who may have missed it when it was in the GCP/CPs. If you've already got all of the heroes, it's likely Flash Packs are less appealing to you.

xanxus_leonhart Hi! Sorry to hear that you are disappointed about drops, however I notice that people become upset when they don't count and don't follow their guarantees. It's important to close your 1* premium catalogue to get control over featured guarantees in GCP/CP, this will help you make purchase wisely.

The same is true for FP: don't hope you'll get lucky, luck and impulsive purchases cost a hell lot of money in this game. Buy them only when you see that you can easily target good toons. Many of my guildmates sit on good stashes of gems and spend them only to keep their 1* catalogue close and when they see the character they really want.

I am sorry you are having bad luck opening FP, I usually have bad luck with the packs too.
I only open a FP if the price and the heroe are worth because they are more expensive than a GCP.
It is better only open a FP if you really need that toon.

This is something I tell my members when we talk about flashpacks and their costs:

Would you be ok getting the worst character in it for the price?

If the answer is yes, then go ahead and purchase. But if you're not ok with that risk, save for the next purchase you believe will be worth it.

              great sound advice.

@xanxus_leonhart. so sorry to hear about your bad pulls.

For myself, the FP always give me the less wanted heroes when I made multiple purchases in hope of duplicate powerful hero that I already had one. So I decided not to be seduced by the "even chance" in the announcement anymore and stop the FP gamble when my wanted toon is not a guaranteed.
I did have good luck last week when I got LSC, then Great Dragon as my 1st guaranteed featured for that week (I didn't want the Leg Yavana)!!

I never buy a FP unless I already have all but my desired toon. That way with the no dupe rules you'll get the one you're after, guaranteed!

I passed on many chances for Dragon Morrigan because I simply would not risk missing on her for one of the other offerings. I finally got her in the recent "all mages are featured" week - that week completed my codex with DM, ND, and KEV - all in 2 very lucky GCPs!

Good luck if you do decide to re-strategize and get back in it!

I once heard a good tip. When you think of buying a FP, ask yourself: "are you ok if you get XXXX (insert least appealing toon here)?" . If the answer is yes, buy. If the answer is no, don't buy.

What happens if I break the rules?
At best, your post will be edited by one of the moderators and you will be issued a warning. If the offense is more serious your post will be deleted. Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" etc. will only make matters worse, so please don't. If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Sr Moderator a message asking for a reason.

Should you have already been issued warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued an infraction - your posting privileges will be disabled for three days, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

For persistent and deliberate rule-breakers your account will be "Banned". That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and/or games and your account will no longer function in them. If you re-register, your new account will be banned as well.

                      Posting Suggestions
In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                      1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

                      2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section.

                      3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available.

                      4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

                      5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum.

                      6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

                      7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.

In addition to the Forum Rules, you are bound to the general EA Terms of Service both on these forums and in the game. Links to the TOS are as follows:
