I think the problem with adding DA2 characters at this point is that power creep has made some of the characters seem ridiculous based on their actual value in the game. For instance, I do think that a merchants guild Bartrand would be a nice addition, but there's no way he should be more powerful than his red lyrium counterpart. The problem is we already have red lyrium Bartrand existing as a rare. This would be easy enough to fix though, but there are other examples as well.

Take Meeran. I never understood why athenril was released with no Meeran counterpart, as they play nearly identical roles in the game. Now, to release Meeran he'd be mostly useless as anything lower than a legendary, but to make him leg would place him above epic athenril. I have the same issue with Gamlen, who based on his character should be barely worth the epic base, but there's no point in releasing him unless he's a leg.

I think that releasing more useful versions of the DA2 companions is the best way to go. It's been way too long without a leg version of Carver and Bethany, and as noted above there are a number worthy heroes and villains who have been glossed over, like Quentin, GascardDuPuis, Emeric, and Petrice.

Gamlen is more interesting than he appears. Also thank you for the suggestions. I wanted to get to the blood Mages but the holidays being what they are (not much time).

Interesting, maybe, but I still don't think worthy of a legendary toon :P But I think that there are less worthy who are still there (coughcoughJoryDavethLilycough) so I wouldn't be surprised! I like how you had Leandra as a support toon, and I think that could be a good compromise for some of these still-important-but-hard-to-place characters.

Blood mages are hard because there's so many of them...I would imagine it's tough to make a unique blood mage that doesn't upset the game as much as Dan and Uldred did. Other characters we could consider are Seamus and Viscount Dumar, some elves from Merrill's clan (which I believe you addressed in your Elf Update post), Grand Cleric Elthina, Ser Thrask, Grace, Ser Karras, Ginnis...A lot of worthy potential 1* heroes.
I'll see if I have a chance to do character sheets for some of these guys... By using templars from DA2, there's a chance to really create a strong Templar group by building up some good defenses, strong single hitters with resistances and healing.

I like that I wasn't the only one thinking about heroes from dragon age 2.

I think Leandra works best as support character as looking through her back story she really has nothing to her attack wise *cough* *zombie that didn't do anything in game* cough* but she was very supportive of her family. Gamlen has associations with dangerous people, went on a quest to find the Gem of keroshek and is still alive also penniless and he's got skills with a mallet (why I think he deserves at least 1☆).

I also completely agree. Dragon age 2 is a goldmine of templars both good and bad.

Also thank you for the other suggestions

Will add them to the list.

Love these character sheets I think this is much better off as a discussion section rather than strictly feedback/suggestion. Thank you for this, Third_Monti!

                      General Message to Those Interested:

You may if you wish write up a sheet for a character with one already. These will then be classified as versions. Or you can write sheets of the characters listed under the line.

#8 Hadriana, has been added. It may seem weird that her auras are only boosts to Danarius, but she is his Apprentice and the wiki says this about it
"Hadriana is described as a social climber who was cruel to her master's slaves, depriving them food and sleep. Fenris claims she would sell her own children in order to please her master. She was mocked and laughed at by other magisters, and so this ridicule led to her cruelty, steadily tearing away the decency within her."

It is important that members recognize the real-time nature of this forum: the moderators cannot always monitor the contents of posted messages, and as such depend upon you to inform them when participants or their messages are violating our policy as stated here. You must also recognize that they cannot respond immediately to such notices and that some time may pass before any warranted action is taken.

To contact a moderator, please use the Flag Post function on the post represented by a flag:

At best, your post will be edited by one of the moderators and you will be issued a warning. If the offense is more serious your post will be deleted. Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" etc. will only make matters worse, so please don't. If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Sr Moderator a message asking for a reason.

Should you have already been issued warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued an infraction - your posting privileges will be disabled for three days, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

For persistent and deliberate rule-breakers your account will be "Banned". That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and/or games and your account will no longer function in them. If you re-register, your new account will be banned as well.

                              Posting Suggestions
In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                              1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

                              2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section.

                              3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available.

                              4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

                              5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum.

                              6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

                              7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.

In addition to the Forum Rules, you are bound to the general EA Terms of Service both on these forums and in the game. Links to the TOS are as follows:
