  • Anyone else have game freezes after changing team??

    Good morning everyone. I'd like to address an ongoing issue (at least for me), that "sometimes' when I change my players, and go back into PVP event battle, and hit fight, the screen/game play freezes up and I'm stuck. The animation is still going, but I have to restart the game in order to continue. I say "sometimes" because it doesn't seem to do it every time, sometimes if I next it's okay. And I don't think it matters how I enter into pvp, whether thru the main screen or from the squad screen. Wasn't this fixed already??? I thought it was maybe. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, or if its just my crappy graphics card?(lol) All I know is that it's been very annoying, and with GW is extremely frustrating!!

    Is there a separate fix/patch I can download maybe?

    This is not something we've experienced on a widescale basis, and cannot reproduce locally. Have you tried performing a clean installation of the game recently? This means uninstall the game, reboot your device, and then reinstall the game. That often clears up any performance issues going on.

    Additionally, if your device has less than 1GB of RAM, you may experience subpar performance. You can also try making sure HoDA is the only app running when you are playing, to make sure your device is devoting as many resources as possible to the game.

      No, Lyeshal, I thought there was a problem about when you put runes on and came back it was freezing up. Wasn't that an issue before? I'm wondering maybe if it's because I've played on many different devices since I've started. I've done many clean reinstalls. So, if there was a fix for the rune freeze, is it available separately?

        I've done everything you suggested Lyeshal and I've always experienced the game almost constantly freezing up for a few seconds every time I try doing anything in the squad screen and it's such a tiny thing but SO often and if I try doing anything while it's froze then the scroll feature stops working or my phone freezes up completely and I'm so tired of it, it's the #1 reason I pretty much don't play anymore.
        My favorite thing was using the different heroes and watching all the different animations and it's beyond infuriating. I have 128 GB SD card so there was plenty of room on my phone.

          Yep, thx Tom. I too am so tired of all of it, that I'm about to quit the game for good! Not to mention that I think last client update put all the good things they had done in the consume interface, (the scroll staying put etc..,) right back to the way it was before, I think that's what's happened here!

            We resolved that issue in the last client update, so it shouldn't be affecting you anymore.

              The scrolling issue is addressed here on the forums, but it's a known issue that's related to accessing PVP too quickly and not allowing the ladder to finish scrolling. To fix it, just launch the PVP Event screen and let the ladder finish scrolling, and then everything unlocks.

                Yeah, we're not sure what happened with the consume scroll. It's on the investigation list.

                  Now I'm confused.
                  The only problem I have with PvP is on the main screen they shows your squad and the PvP button says ENTER TODAY'S EVENT instead of just TODAY'S EVENT or something like that. I just click the gems purchase button and that fixes that.

                  My problem is where you actually put the squads together scrolling through your heroes. I spend 10 extra minutes making one squad every time.

                    This is why we will not be increasing roster size. We warned that it would affect performance, and this is part of it.

                    You should perform some maintenance on your roster to clear space. Performance degradation begins on several devices when you have over 600 heroes in your roster. If your device is older, we recommend keeping your roster size to 600 or smaller.

                    Additionally, performing a regular data cache clear or full, clean reinstallation of the game after every client release is highly recommended to ensure you are taking advantage of performance improvements we do.

                      As much as I'd love to only have 600 heroes or less, I have a really hard time getting rid of heroes and even when the roster limit was lower I remember it always getting hung up when I try moving a hero into the squad.
                      I really appreciate the suggestions and response.
                      Having gotten nearly every hero and maybe one maxed out is another big reason I barely play.

                      Flaming or bashing of EA/CG, the devs, or the mods is not allowed. All posts/threads will be deleted.


                      Right to Privacy
                      You will not violate a person's privacy by publishing against another members will, information that is private and personal. Nor will you post private communication between EA Capital Games Support, other forum members, moderators, community managers, administrators, EA Capital Games employees, or partners of EA Capital Games on these forums or anywhere else.

                      Unless expressly endorsed by EA Capital Games, publicizing any correspondence of a private nature such as support tickets, email, Private Messages (PM) or chat logs thereof by any medium is NOT permitted.

                      Spamming
                      Obvious spam (repetitive nonsense posts) will result in the poster permanently banned and all posts deleted.


                      Porn
                      Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene is not permitted on these forums.

                      Topics/posts containing such will be deleted on sight. Forum poster will be permanently banned from the forums.


                      Warez
                      Providing or asking for information regarding the illegal downloading of "warez", "gamez" or any other software protected by copyright.


                      Future Events/Promotions
                      Any posts or threads revealing future events or promotions that were not disclosed by the Capital Games team will be deleted.


                      Cross-posting
                      Posting the same question in more than one forum is not allowed. Should this occur, then only the thread in the most relevant forum will be left open; all others will be locked/closed and subsequently deleted.


                      Cheating
                      The use of any exploits or known bugs or editing of files in order to gain an unfair advantage while playing, will result in a permanent game and forum ban.

                      Accusing another player of cheating will result in your post/thread being deleted and a message sent to you, stating to refrain from further accusations. If continued accusations occur, a forum ban will result. If you believe a player to be cheating, send a PM to the Community Manager with as much detail as possible.

                      Please privately contact the Community Manager in order to submit an inquiry regarding this behavior.


                      Off-Topic Posting
                      Taking over a thread by posting excessively off-topic is not allowed. Off-Topic posts and any responses will be moved to their own, new thread if possible, or else deleted.


                      Political Posting
                      Because political beliefs, like religion, are a personal and sensitive topic, avoid posting about politics on the forums.


                      Customer Support Inquiries
                      All inquiries regarding Customer Support should be routed through the online web portal for support. The Community Manager and Moderators are unable to assist with inquiries regarding support tickets. Posting your ticket number and requesting assistance on the forums will result in the post being deleted. Sending a Private Message to the Community Manager or Moderators about CSR Inquiries is not to be tolerated, and will be ignored.

                      Additionally, all interactions with Customer Support are considered confidential, and all issues are handled on a case-by-case basis. As such, posts containing transcripts or results of your interactions with Customer Support will be edited or deleted.


                      Violation of these terms is grounds for removal from EA Capital Games games and a report to Facebook.


                      What should I do if I see objectionable material on the forums?
                      It is important that members recognize the real-time nature of this forum: the moderators cannot always monitor the contents of posted messages, and as such depend upon you to inform them when participants or their messages are violating our policy as stated here. You must also recognize that they cannot respond immediately to such notices and that some time may pass before any warranted action is taken.

                      What happens if I break the rules?
                      At best, your post will be edited by one of the moderators and you will be issued a warning. If the offense is more serious your post will be deleted. Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" etc. will only make matters worse, so please don't. If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Sr Moderator a message asking for a reason.

                      Should you have already been issued warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued an infraction - your posting privileges will be disabled for three days, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

                      For persistent and deliberate rule-breakers your account will be "Banned". That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and/or games and your account will no longer function in them. If you re-register, your new account will be banned as well.

                      Posting Suggestions
                      In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                      1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
