    Some units with "power drain immunity" are still be power drained, just like other heores with sum of 100% power drain resist in a squad. For example sometimes Saarebas or Qunari defender are still be power drained when attacked by the dark Theurge in demon squad with no power drain when attacked items. idk is it a bug or not but it's would make players confuse. If its a fact then please change the description to give ... 100% power drain resist instead. btw Kitty description should be "much more likely to attack heroes with lowest health", not "more likely to attack heroes with lowest % health"(tested with team"much more likely to be hit" equip full of reduce enemy flank chances items and Cole with the lowest max health in the back row still be killed 1st by kitty)

      My team consist of Flemeth, DM, SSM T4 (Templar Breastplate) and SSM T3 (Templar Breastplate) and Apostate Jowan (Templar Breastplate). I removed Xenon in my team and replaced him with Flemeth for testing.

      Total power drain resist for the Witches = 25 + 75 + 50 + 30 = 180% drain resist
      Jowan = 155%

      My opponent's team: Wryme, Kitty, Xenon and 2 THO. No gear that can reduce my team power drain resist. Only Xenon with passive negative aura to drain resist of 35%

      Overall my team Power Drain for Witches = 180 - 35 = 145%
      Jowan = 155 - 35 = 120%

      I noticed that when my DMorrigan attacked first and triggering Wryme effect, then my opponent's THO will attack my Witches and can power drain them. I came to conclusion that Wryme might be reducing my team drain resist more than 10% when attacked by AOE.

      So if Wryme only reduces 10% after DM attacked him, then my team won't be power drained when attacked by THO.
      Witches = 145 - 10 = 135%
      Jowan = 120 - 10 = 110%

      Now if Wryme can reduce 50% when attacked by AOE, then he is broken in my opinion, making Power Drain resist completely useless.
      Witches = 145 -50 = 95%
      Jowan = 120 - 50 = 70%

      So my question is how much power drain resist can Wryme reduce when attacked by AOE? 10% or 50%? (Assuming both side with 5 heroes)

      Edit:
      Repost

      I did another test replacing Dragon Morrigan with Golden Halla (no gear, only attacks row, quick round), Still using the same team plus Golden Halla

      Without DM and Opponent's Xenon, Witches drain resist = 155 - 35 = 120%
      Jowan = 155 - 35 = 120%

      This time, i want Golden Halla to attack only Wryme, to my surprised, my team got drained again.

      Witches and Jowan Drain Resist = 120 -10 = 110% remaining resist after 1 attack by Halla.

      So the problem is not just about AOE.

        I have my suspicions about Wyrme, that's why I was asking in other thread about what current immunity equates to as I try to reconcile what I am seeing - unfortunately that isn't something they are willing to disclose.

        I am pretty sure now that the on being hit proc for Wyrme is flawed. I think on AoE for itself and allies it's triggering the 10% power drain reduction 5 times (50% total), rather than just 10% for the 1 time it's hit.

        Can I suggest the proc is rechecked to ensure it's only applying when itself ONLY is hit, rather than part of an AoE attack and triggering multiple times, or that each hit isn't reducing power drain more than the stated 10%.

        In below video that I have linked, it seems to suggest a KA squad with net 140% power drain resist, after 2 normal attacks by one KA to enemy Wyrme (which should mean my KA's then have 120%) and 3rd AoE attack by great dragon resulted in my squad being power drained (which shouldn't be the case as KA squad should have 110% or at worst 100% - hard to tell if great dragon had the 20% chance to attack again with enemy squad having 2 heroes with defender). Therefore regardless, there shouldn't have been any power draining happening on that great dragon attack unless the proc is bugged! Also the power drain was displayed despite power gain from 2x key = 8% of damage vs 5% drain of helm - so there must have been a lot of negative power drain to have out-scaled that as well.

        Link: https://youtu.be/Ana0Drh304w

        In 2nd video squad of 3 Avernus and Isseya and GWK has 275% power drain resist for the blood mages - after first offensive attack that Isseya did (theoretically reducing net power drain for the blood mage wardens by 10% to 265%) enemy THO attack was able to power drain the blood mages.

        Link: https://youtu.be/Xg0Rlr1Uc_o

        Wyrme proc is clearly buggy! AoE aspect stacking incorrectly, it is doing way more than the stated 10% as well, even if it were mistakenly doing 5x10% for the AoE, that still doesn't account for what this 2nd video shows.

          Tnx for the sample video.

          Like you suggested, it's triggering the 10% power drain reduction 5 times (50% total) when he's hit. The animation will only show you 1 by 1 hit on your team, but in realtiy its an aoe hit on your 5-man team 5 times causing the 50% drain resist reduction

            It gets worse - check out the 2nd video I just uploaded an added to original post...

              Yeah saw the video. My other guess if enemy allies were counted too in computation then an AOE attack will cause Wryme to retaliate with 50% drain resist reduction 5 times (250% total)

                power drain have floor -100 so your 180% will be 80% only and i heard wryme bugged so even you have immune power drain like kitty and SC you still be sucking dry if the fight go long

                  I know about immunities bug - but in this case there aren't any in play here - just high power drain resistance - using it to check if Wyrme correctly removes only 10% resistance each hit it receives - which it doesn't.

                      Is there a way to see my post attached to the thread above which was moved from main channel and merged here? It's gotten compressed and I can't view and point my GW members to see the details of my testing

                        Was working on it. I'm really sorry - the forums glitched during the merge and I haven't been able to recover it. I'm annoyed.

                          Repost:

                          In the below example it demonstrates that Wyrme is reducing power drain more than 10% per hit.

                          https://youtu.be/Ana0Drh304w

                          As you can see, net 140% power drain resistance, in theory after first KA hits wyrme, squad should have net 120% power drain resistance.
                          When Great Dragon attacks squad should have 110% power drain resistance (maybe 100% as it isn't clear if Great Dragon's 2nd attack occurred - difficult to tell as there are 2 defenders in enemy squad).
                          However on this attack my squad was drained - hence clear indication that Wyrme is draining more than listed 10% in some fashion or how it's procing with AoE attacks

                          In the below 2nd example it demonstrates that Wyrme is most likely treating AoE attacks incorrectly in conjunction with also doing more than the listed 10% power drain when hit.

                          https://youtu.be/Xg0Rlr1Uc_o

                          Squad consisting of 3xAvernus and Isseya has a total of 275% power drain resist for the blood mages
                          After Isseya does one AoE on Wyrme (which has no defender gear), blood mages in the squad should have 265% power drain resist
                          Enemy THO then attacks and was able to power drain whole squad.

                          I think that's the gist of my original post. Hopefully will help devs diagnose Wyrme's multiple bugs.

                            Thank you so much for taking the time to repost this.

                            We did double check to make sure the aura is set up correctly to only apply when self hit (we can't differentiate between self-only vs AOE where self is included - all that matters is the hero being hit), and that it applies the negative just once to enemies. What may happen, however, is if Wryme is hit by a multi-attack, the negative happens for each one of those attacks rather than just once. That is, for example, if Wryme were hit by a Bethany, he would do -30% power drain resistance, instead of -10%, because Bethany attacks 3x.

                            My other thought was that somehow when it's doing the negative resistance thing, it's taking it as 10% of the current resistance - that is, someone with 200% resistance would have it lowered to 180% (20 being 10% of 200), but that math doesn't add up either to lower it enough to go below 100%. That would also mean it's behaving differently than the other negative auras we've got, but hey, this is HoDA and we've seen weirder things happen.

                            However - given the age of this thread about TEO, this is clearly something that's been around longer than Wryme, although this is a different manifestation of it. I suspect when we figure out one, it'll fix both.

                              I'd have no problem with that, ie Bethany or a non-stealth RJS - but as you can see something seriously wierd happening in the 2nd video - since huge power drain resist and only 1 AoE hitting wyrme... and then drained into oblivion very odd!

                                ive had situations where ive had templar banner in my KA team setup and i only one (out of the two hit) got drained by the enemy KA on attack, even though templar banner gives drain immunity. The enemy team had no wyrme or anything special, only ferelden banner for -powerdrain resist, yet one of my KA got drained into oblivion and the other that also got hit by the same attack was fine.

If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Sr Moderator a message asking for a reason.

                                Should you have already been issued warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued an infraction - your posting privileges will be disabled for three days, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

                                For persistent and deliberate rule-breakers your account will be "Banned". That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and/or games and your account will no longer function in them. If you re-register, your new account will be banned as well.

                                Posting Suggestions
                                In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                                1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
                                Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

                                2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section.

                                3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available.

                                4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

                                5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum.

                                6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

                                7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.
