We already have a legendary Sten. He even got an extra star recently.

I wouldn't mind a multistar Oghren though. Something to boost the dwarves. GWO is kind of more GW than dwarf. Maybe 2* Drunkard Oghren.

No we don't. Or is hodacodex and galery missing Sten, the only Stens I see are Sten, the Arishok, Sten of the Beresaad and Sten. Maybe it is not clear, but we were talking about Dragon Age Origins heroes, where Sten was anything but Arishok.

        *looks at HODA CODEX*

Sten the Arishok, rarity: legendary, 2 stars. Seems to me like we indeed have a legendary Sten.

And again, so I will be little more open. We don't. The name of this thread is: promoting DAO characters. The DAO is most likely reference to Dragon Age: Origins. Here is link to what Sten was and his CCV: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Sten. If you open the Origin and read about him, you will find out, that he was never Arishok there. Meaning... That Sten, the Arishok is not Legendary Sten from DAO, he can't be. You can read books or just that page to learn how and when he became The Arishok, like it or not, this game don't have Legendary Sten, whats even more interesting is, that you were refering to post where I have written: "So an example:". As example I have compared two Chars from Dragon Age Origins and Awakening, where you play Warden.

And again, you should not compare it with rare Sten, that's reference to the Dragon Age 2, again, where you had to fight many stens, as sten is not name but warrior rank. If someone would like to say, that we can't have Legendary Sten and Rare Sten, so be it, then why do we have Common/Uncommon/Rare/Epic/Legendary Avvar Goat.... but once again, it was example with reference to DAO characters, not the books or DAI, where by the way you can talk about our Sten as well.

The goats were an april fools special. The Sten from Origins is Epic rarity not Rare.
And if a character is desired one needs to find a way to make that character. Sten doesn't really change throughout Origins, the only difference there is is when we find out in the Comics that he's the Arishok.
By change i mean things like: Iron Bull, Red Lyrium Iron Bull, Hissrad, or Circle Mage Bethany, Warden Bethany, Bethany Hawke (if Sten had a proper name it could have been done, maybe).

Epic "Sten of the Beresaad" is the Sten from DAO. He won't be becoming a Legendary. The Legendary version of him is Sten, the Arishok, as that is his next progression in his story.

Please keep in mind this game has been around since 2013, and many of the DAO heroes were released originally as Epic, such as Leliana, Grey Warden Alistair, Oghren, etc. Sten of the Beresaad was released later, but still during the time when Epic heroes were nearly as competitive as Legendary heroes.

When a hero is granted a Legendary form, it is generally the next step of their story character progression (e.g. King Alistair). Again, many of these occurred before multi-stars came into the game, and that's why they have only one star. However, as exhibited with Sten, the Arishok, we are working to raise these older heroes up to a 2* status which is more appropriate to their place in the lore.

Unless there is another "version" of the hero, it is unlikely that an Epic will be re-released as a Legendary 1* at this point.

Unfortunately, there are some heroes that probably should have been released as a 1* or 2* but were created as 3*. Those design decisions were made by staff who are no longer on the team, and we cannot change these star ratings - we are just as stuck with them as you are, because to reduce their star ratings would be to nerf the heroes, and would be highly insulting to the players who have acquired and built them.

Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" etc. will only make matters worse, so please don't. If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Sr Moderator a message asking for a reason.

                Posting Suggestions
In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

                2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section.

                3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available.

                4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

                5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum.

                6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

                7. If you find it easier to express yourself en fran├žais, auf Deutsch, en espa├▒ol, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.

In addition to the Forum Rules, you are bound to the general EA Terms of Service both on these forums and in the game. Links to the TOS are as follows:
