Yes, only leg fort ur legs with same color!!! Because a T4 epic from same colour will give ur leg almost the same HP/power than a other colour leg... Forting legs with other faction ones is a waste!

That makes sense. Thank you, Sarcodino.

Another question: how do you decide if leg fort health or power first?

It depends on what toon and how u will use him. For example if u want to use a quick squad to kill enemy in the first round go for power... But if u want a tank, a toon who gains power during the battle (BMs for example) or a toon who is usefull for his hability instead of his power (a curser toon or a stuner toon for example) go for HP then xD

Then Dan found the goat who laid the eggs. Dan soon had all the eggs and went forth to resume the sport he loved. But, the village was empty as his buddies could no longer find eggs nor the sport they loved. Dan threw down his eggs and left, realizing that while he did indeed love the eggs, he loved the sport and his buddies more. When other goats returned, there was only Smaug who yawned and went back to sleep..." With a start, Dan awoke from his nightmare and vowed to run from GOATS!

            Thanks, Sarcodino.

MAM_HoDA: the link is outdated, and doesn't tell when to go health over power or viceversa.

Sorry, thought that given health is much simpler, a power discussion would be useful.

"As a father of two small children and a full time employee I can attest to how hard it is to play HODA competitively without sacrificing the rest of your life. Well, competitively to a degree. Trying to compete for a top 25 place requires full commitment of quite a few hours within the 2 or 3 day period that the event lasts and this might just not be possible for a person with a busy lifestyle."

And here we come to one of the problems with the guide. Actually I would go even further and say that it might not be possible for someone with a busy lifestyle to even place in the top 500. I've certainly never managed to do it. So the advice about saving the gems for PvP events isn't right as the best people like me can get out of a PvP even if we spend gems is an epic.

I'm on the same boat. How would you use your gems? PvE events? Are GCP worthy in our case?

I've placed 200 quite a few times and 500 many more. Its actually quite easy. For 500, on most events you will only require an hour or maybe two of grinding. For 200 its more demanding, but its usually no more than 4-5 over over a 48 hour event. The 72 hour events are a little more demanding so I usually avoid them, but it usually no more than an extra hour or two over a 48 hour event. For a top 500 I'll usually just stay on naturals for the first 24 hours then use a couple of UR runes to climb up close to 500th rank. Then, near the end of the event I'll use another couple of UR runes to ensure I'm with the 500th place. Nowadays, I have pretty strong teams so I don't always need to use Runes, but they are certainly invaluable when you have weaker units. Obviously, if the prizes are highly sought toons (like when it was Seeker Cassandra), the required time and gems increase considerably.

For top 200 I will grind within the first 12 hours to get to top 1000 or close to top 500 if possible. Then in the next 12-24 hours I will try to do another couple of grinds, then one final grind near the end of the event. Each grind for 1 hour, using up 2 UR runes in each grind. I will usually do this while waiting for my 2 year old to fall asleep or during lunch time at work.

I only compete in events where my teams have a chance at doing well and when there is a worthwhile toon I need at 500 or 200, preferably in both. This means I don't actually compete that often, about once a week on average. I think that if you can compete at least once or twice every two weeks, you will have a reasonably decent speed of progression. Personally, if I wasn't able to progress at at least that speed, I would just give up on this game. In other words, if your lifestyle is so busy that can't commit to a couple of hours every two weeks, I really don't think you'll get much out of this game. Also, once you can reliably go through the insane nexus events, your speed of legend acquisition will speed up considerably.

As for how to use your gems, as Arparrabiosa asked, I believe that is quite well explained int he walkthrough: Use them on GCPs at first (specially now that you get 2 legends instad of 1) and once you have a team that is good enough to compete reasonably well in PvP, use them there to get top 500 prizes, and later on top 200 prizes. Once you have a good amount of energy (see guide for suggestions) you can also start using them to grind the nexus events.

Posting "why was my post edited/deleted?" etc. will only make matters worse, so please don't. If a moderator has not sent you a message stating why, please send the Sr Moderator a message asking for a reason.

Should you have already been issued warnings and continue to break the rules, you will be issued an infraction - your posting privileges will be disabled for three days, but you will still be able to view the forums as a guest.

For persistent and deliberate rule-breakers your account will be "Banned". That means you are no longer welcome on these forums and/or games and your account will no longer function in them. If you re-register, your new account will be banned as well.

                    Posting Suggestions
In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, the following suggestions are also recommended:

                    1. Be civil and courteous. This forum is visited by people from all over the world, of different ages, genders, religions, and backgrounds, and are each entitled to their own opinion.
Also, see Flaming, Right to Privacy, and Hatred.

                    2. Make sure that your message topics fit the topic description of the forum in which you are posting. This is for your own benefit - for example, a question regarding a bug or problem should be posted in the Feedback section.

                    3. Use the search function before posting, particularly if the question is problem oriented. Most technical questions have been answered before, and solutions are freely available.

                    4. Make sure that you have followed #3 before posting

                    5. Read the sticky threads at the top of each forum - they are there for a reason, and generally contain information relevant to the forum.

                    6. Don't quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage. This makes it easier to read for other users.

                    7. If you find it easier to express yourself en français, auf Deutsch, en español, in Nederlands, in Italiano, or any other language, post in the International Discussion forum. Hopefully someone who speaks the same language as you will be able to assist you. All posts in other sections (non-International) of the forums must be in English, so please make use of Google Translate if you need assistance with translation. Posting in English will allow the widest range of people to assist you.

In addition to the Forum Rules, you are bound to the general EA Terms of Service both on these forums and in the game. Links to the TOS are as follows:
