  • Patch Notes - 7.30.2020

    Content for the next several weeks has been added to the game. Here's what you'll find with this update:

    Bug Fixes and Updates
    • Viddasala's negative stun resist aura was not properly applying to enemies. This is resolved, and enemies will appropriately have their stun resist reduced when facing Viddasala.
    • Onslaught reward previews have been increased in-game to 2 weeks in advance (up from 5 days).
    Promotions and Events

    Over the next few weeks, look for announcements for these events:
    • Map 6 - Foundation, exclusive rewards The Formless One, Arlathan Focusing Crystal
    • Map 7 - The Harrowing, exclusive reward First Enchanter's Robes
    • Map 11 - The Crossroads, exclusive reward The Hand That Cuts
    • Map 12 - The Ancient Crypt, exclusive rewards Profane, Winter-Weight
    Onslaught Battle Royale is coming, with banner stretch goal The Formless One, dragon scale gear, and Lyrium Vein packs as featured prizes!

    In this new era for Heroes of Dragon Age, our release cycles will be changing. As time progresses, we will be releasing more regular event content at a time (PVP, PVE, Quest events), with the occasional intermittent content release for special events.Therefore, patch notes will become less frequent. However, we will continue to release regular weekly event schedules here on the forums. This change comes to address a new landscape for our Heroes of Dragon Age team as we continue to work from home for the foreseeable future. We remain committed to keeping the game running and available. Battle on, Heroes!

    Due to some technical limitations, we have had to find ways to cut corners in reducing the overall gamedata size. To this end, weekly quest events will have no more than 3 difficulty settings. "Boss Encounter" events previously were already reduced to just Very Hard, Insane, and Ludicrous. Along this same vein, the other weekly events will now only have Medium, Very Hard, and Ludicrous modes. If an event previously did not have Medium, we chose to keep Hard instead. Daily, Keyed, and Seasonal events are not affected by this change.

    Hi, Lyeashal thank you for the info. Want to ask you - will there ever be new storyline maps in future or we must wait for DA 4?

      I posted this in bugs as well but after this update insane is no longer an option on the weekly events I see it in the daily faction one but that is it

          Not a bug. We had to reduce the overall gamedata size, so we scrapped out some of the difficulty levels from the weekly events. Each weekly event going forward will have Medium/Very Hard/Ludicrous. If the event previously did not have a Medium, we kept the Hard difficulty instead.

          Missed noting that in the patch notes. Sorry about that.

          Drop rates for these have not been altered in any way.

            so the jump is med hard and ludicrous thanks for keeping ludicrous it will take some players longer to get there. Thanks for the fast response
